Alicia Pacific Veterinary Center is a newly built state of the art facility. We have created a space that flows well to meet the needs of every type of patient. There is an outpatient area just behind the exam rooms where quick procedures can be done while not disturbing our intensive care patients.
We have a beautiful intensive care area with very large runs for our giant patients, large kennels for our larger pets, and small areas for the little ones that need more attention. In the middle of ICU is a circular work station allowing all pets to be observed even when the staff is busy with a critical patient.
Right next to our intensive care unit is a well-ventilated isolation room designed with all glass walls to allow best visibility with minimal contamination. There are gowns, booties, patient care trays, and doctor exam pieces designated to that room to prevent any contamination to the surrounding areas. In addition, all staff is required to wear gloves when handling medical supplies to aid in keeping the hospital germ free.
Our dental station is the best in the business and comes equipped with human grade dental tools, and a digital dental x-ray unit that can be utilized on every patient to view the integrity of each individual tooth, just as is done at your dentist’s office.
Our radiology room has a digital dental x-ray unit, and general anesthesia so pets that are being radiographed during a procedure can remain on the most consistent anesthesia from start to finish.
The surgical suite is spacious, with swinging doors that remain closed when not in use. There is a pass-through window for equipment to prevent any break in sterility. The suite is filled with the highest quality anesthetic equipment, and monitory units, and is cleaned daily to maintain sterility.
Our newest and mostly widely sought after piece of equipment is our Ozone Cleaning System. This is a chemical free cleaning system designed by a scientist in Southern California. This System is hooked up to our main water line and when water runs through it, the system attaches an extra Oxygen molecule to H2O, allowing H3O to be formed for a transient period of time. The H3O lasts in cold water only for 20 minutes and will completely disinfect any surface. It will rid a hospital of bacteria, viruses, and prions. We are excited to provide this product in our hospital and to our staff upon request. If you would like more information on the Ozone Cleaning System contact Dr. Haney for details.
